Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, 2 OR suites, and 28 postpartum beds serving approximately 250 births per month
Circulate for C-sections as required; scrubbing experience is preferred
Manage laboring patients at a 2:1 ratio following AWHONN guidelines and provide couplet care at a 1:4 ratio when floating to postpartum
Care for a diverse patient population including antepartum, high-risk deliveries, pre-eclampsia, substance abuse, insulin-dependent diabetics, and patients of any gestational age
Utilize Cerner EMR and Fetal Link fetal monitoring system; telemetry via Philips
Collaborate with OB technicians (available on both day and night shifts), Respiratory Therapy (24/7), and Pharmacy (24/7) to deliver comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure in California (or compact license eligibility)
