    Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

    Location

    Wenatchee, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
    • Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
    • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
    • Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
    • Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
    • Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team; delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and may float in unit rotation including as a sitter
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
    • Active FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification
    • Ability to function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
    • Familiarity with evidence-based perinatal nursing workflows and procedures
