Travel Nurse RN - Long-Term Care - $2,034 per week in Geneva, NY

Job Title: RN House Supervisor Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Clinical Leader Duration: 26-week contract through holidays Shift: Full-Time Evenings Hours per Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend and holidays required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year Long-Term Care experience and previous supervisory experience License: Required NYS RN Licensure Certifications: BLS Required (through AHA or RQI only) Must-Have: BLS Certification Description: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, oversees the operation of the nursing units. Provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the Nursing Department's activities. Ensures consistency with established policies, procedures, standards, and regulations. Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. Communicates with the Director of Nursing regarding identified and potential unit problems. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to resolve problems. Contacts the Director of Nursing for only critical issues requiring resolution. Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing within identified scope of responsibility.
