Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) on the Surgical Floor in Johnstown, PA. Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Weekly guaranteed hours of 36, with flexibility for 48 hours per week; weekends required with a minimum of 2 weekends on schedule out of 4
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), current certifications as per facility requirements, ability to pass dysrhythmia and math dosage tests, willingness to float to units with comparable patient populations
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, orthopedics, or surgical settings; strong clinical skills in post-operative care; friendly and adaptable personality
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult patients in a hospital setting with a patient ratio of 6:1, utilizing EPIC electronic health record systems. The unit is on the 9th Floor Trauma Level 1, with a total of 44 beds across two nursing stations. No specific scrub color required; professional appearance standards apply.
