Job Details
- Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
- Shift: Day Shift, 0615 to 1845
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience
- Previous traveler experience required
- Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain licensure in good standing
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within 3 months
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or completion within 3 months
- Basic computer skills and electronic health record experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
- Additional Information:
- The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered, and document all patient care activities accurately.
- Responsibilities include patient and family education, infection prevention, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.
- The role requires physical ability to perform heavy work, including lifting and assisting with patient movement.
- Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
