Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Indiana. This is a night shift position working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week. The role involves providing patient care within a team-oriented environment, requiring experience in an acute care hospital setting. The position includes floating to other units or departments as needed, with mandatory orientation and training.

Job Details

• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Required Qualifications: Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a Medical Surgical Floor, familiarity with EPIC charting system, and proficiency with patient care equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacuums, lifts, feeding pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCD), NG tubes, suction, and Foley catheters.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes a scavenger hunt and one day of supervised practice on the unit following Jumpstart orientation. Orientation schedule: Week 1 (Monday-Friday), Week 2 (Monday-Tuesday); mandatory attendance for all 7 days. Floating to other units/departments is expected, but no specific units are listed.
