Carenest Health Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salida, Colorado.

Job Title: RN Med Surg 

Location: Salida CO 81201

Duration:8 Weeks 

Shift: Nights 6P - 6A.

 

Job Description:

Position: RN Med / Surg 

SHIFTS: nights - 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week. No mandatory overtime, but overtime is allowable. schedule will include every other weekend.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. One year experience is required. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.

 Must maintain current BLS.

 ACLS and PALS preferred

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Directly provides acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member at the highest standards of evidence-based practice;
2. Evaluating health status through the collection and assessment of health data;
3. Provide health teaching and health counseling;
4. Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well- being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to,
supervision of, or teaching of others;
5. Execute delegated medical functions;
6. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans;
7. Correctly, accurately, and timely documentation in the medical record all assessment, interventions, teaching, and care coordination efforts of patient care.
8. Collaborates with ancillary departments and physician providers to address the medical, social, and spiritual needs of the patient in a culturally and age appropriate manner.
