We're seeking an experienced **Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)** for a travel assignment in **Pagosa Springs, Colorado**. Join a dedicated healthcare team providing exceptional inpatient care in a beautiful mountain community.

**Requirements:**
• Active Colorado RN License (or ability to obtain before start)
• Minimum **5 years** of Med-Surg or Emergency Room experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current **BLS, ACLS, and PALS** certifications
• **Cerner EMR experience required**
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills

**Assignment Details:**
• 13-week contract
• **Day Shift:** 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM
• 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours)
• Holiday coverage required
• No on-call
• W-2 employment only (No 1099)

**Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive Med-Surg patient care
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, and reassessments
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care standards
