Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in an adult acute care unit providing care for a diverse patient population, including surgical, ENT, plastics, and family medicine patients. The role involves delivering individualized patient care, managing conditions such as diabetes, respiratory diseases, post-cancer or trauma reconstructions, and various surgical recoveries. This position is located in a fully private room environment within a 30-bed unit, emphasizing multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing; certifications include BLS; located within commuting distance; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, post-surgical patients, and complex wound management.
• Additional Information: The role requires a commitment through January 31, 2027, starting on or before January 5, 2027, with the expectation of holiday coverage during the assignment period.
