TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Must-Have:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience with IV starts
- Telemetry experience preferred
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed.
Additional RTO could possibly turn into a cancel.
No blocked scheduling for this need.
This is a fast-paced unit.
Target patient ratios are 1:6, but understanding that it may go to 1:7 due to staffing needs is required.
The patient population includes those with gastrointestinal conditions, blood loss and anemia, infections, renal conditions, and surgical patients.
The unit has telemetry beds for monitoring cardiac rhythms.
Floating to other medical-surgical units is required as needed.
Every other weekend is required.
The unit will accept travelers for a length of 13 weeks or longer.
Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
All candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility per job description.
Candidates should be prepared to manage a fast-paced environment with frequent admissions and discharges.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
Daily census averages around 30.
The unit is supported by various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Candidates must have strong skills in various clinical areas, including dysrhythmia management and wound care.
Pre-start modules must be completed online prior to starting.
All testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
