Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
Shifts are night shifts with a 3x12 schedule.
Nursing staff will care for Observation patients, and patients with respiratory conditions.
Nurses will also care for general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative care, hospice patients, and psychiatric observation.
The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical patients.
Nurses should handle diabetes management, surgical patients, and various medical-surgical needs.
A strong focus on telemetry and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias is essential.
Nurses will manage care for colostomies, feeding tubes, and IVs.
The position includes responsibilities for wound care and use of rapid response teams.
Floating to other units may be required based on patient census.
A strict adherence to scheduling and compliance regulations is expected.
Nurses must be prepared for a zero-tolerance policy regarding tardiness and absences.
All travelers are subject to float across various facilities as needed.
Comprehensive compliance documentation is necessary before the start date.
Candidates should be aware of all requirements prior to submission.
