Provide care to patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Deliver patient care in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patients' needs. Understand the range of treatment needed by patients. Make initial assessments and determine the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Perform initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Complete the admission assessment within the established time frame, according to policy and procedures.
