Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,005 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required 2 years of RN experience required Cerner experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired Description: Must live 50 miles away. Performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment required by patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by documentation. Completes admission assessments within an established time frame, according to policy and procedures.
