Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in MS/Tele required.
Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
License:
Valid RN license required.
Certifications:
BLS required.
Must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Must-Have:
Experience with MS/Tele, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response.
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required.
Completion of certifications related to blood product administration, central line care, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, and IV management.
Description:
The role involves providing care for patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment.
Nurses will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to emergencies.
Care includes the management of orthopedic patients, including those undergoing total joint replacements and trauma cases.
The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
RNs will utilize a medication system and charting program.
Weekend shifts are required every other week.
Floating to other units may be necessary.
Candidates must be prepared to manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
