Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,105 per week in Tucson, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years MS/Tele experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: EPIC required Description: 13-week contract. BLS and NIHSS certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of start. ACLS certification preferred. You will float within the scope of practice. Four weekend shifts are required per contract. Full contract length is required. You will be required to confirm your understanding of the patient ratios and team nursing model for the unit during the offer process. Floating to a designated sister facility is required on rare occasions. Patient ratios vary: 6-8 patients. Team nursing model includes an LPN and RN team nursing ratio of 1:8. A solo RN ratio is 1:5-6. Manager reserves the right to schedule staff and make changes when needed. You will work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams. The patient age group will include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 34 patients. A variety of patient diagnoses are expected. Special procedures and equipment may be utilized depending on patient needs. Travel experience is required. Personnel must adhere to compliance regulations and be agreeable to float as needed.
