Registered Nurse Requirements

• 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete required pre-start compliance steps and orientation modules
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med-Surg Telemetry patients during night shifts
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and support treatment plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate effective patient care
• Document care accurately and maintain unit standards for quality and safety
• Support patients and families with clear communication and compassionate care
