Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,158 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of telemetry and medical-surgical unit experience and IV skills needed License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience in caring for cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and patients with substance abuse issues. - Experience working with medical diagnoses involving underlying psychiatric disorders. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse on a medicine unit for a 13-week contract. The role requires working 36 hours per week. Weekends are required every other week. Holidays are required every other and as needed. The patient population includes individuals with cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal issues, substance abuse issues, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders. The unit has 38 beds. The RN to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends. The Patient Care Technician to patient ratio is 1:10.
