Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,158 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Experience in telemetry, medical-surgical units, and IV skills are required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: Specific certifications relevant to the specialty are required. Must-Have: Experience with patient populations including cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and substance abuse. Description: The position is for a registered nurse on a medical unit. The staff will work a total of 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. Holidays will be required every other and as needed. The patient population includes those with medical diagnoses and underlying psychiatric disorders. The unit consists of 38 beds. The RN to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends. The patient care technician to patient ratio is 1:10. Candidates must have strong IV skills and experience in telemetry settings.
