Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Concord Hospital-Laconia. This opportunity is ideal for a strong acute-care/telemetry nurse with advanced cardiac monitoring experience and the ability to manage higher-acuity telemetry patients.
Candidates must have Advanced Telemetry experience and be comfortable managing cardiac medications, including Cardizem, as well as insulin drips for hyperglycemia. First-time travelers may be considered if they have strong relevant clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an Advanced Telemetry setting.
- Perform thorough assessments and ongoing patient monitoring.
- Interpret and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
- Manage patients receiving Cardizem drips.
- Manage insulin drips for hyperglycemia; DKA management is not required.
- Monitor patients receiving Phenobarbital on the telemetry unit.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and discharge support.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and medication protocols.
Required Experience
- Advanced Telemetry experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years of acute-care experience in the relevant specialty
- Strong telemetry and cardiac nursing background
- Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmias
- Travel nursing experience should be documented on the resume.
- First-time travelers may be considered with strong clinical experience.
Required Certifications
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NIHSS – Required
- Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam: Minimum 80% required during onboarding
License Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License required at the time of submission.
- NURSYS report required.
- License verification showing all active RN licenses must be provided.
Schedule
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- November start dates
- Every other weekend requirement
- Travelers must be flexible with scheduling based on unit needs.
Floating
Travelers may be requested to float to:
- Concord Hospital-Franklin
- Concord Hospital
Floating to these facilities would occur on an emergency basis only.
EMR
Cerner experience is preferred but not required.

- 2 recent specialty-specific Charge RN/Manager references

- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission
