Job Description

First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Concord, New Hampshire.

Contract Details:


Duration - 13 weeks
Shift - Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours - 36 hours/week
 

Pay Breakdown:


(Based on 36 hours)
W2 (taxable): $29/hr
Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $1385/week
Gross Weekly Pay: $2429/week

 

Requirements:


Experience Required - 1–2 years minimum Med Surg experience; high-acuity Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
Certification Required - BLS; ACLS preferred; NIHSS required prior to start
License Required - Active New Hampshire or Compact RN License

Additional Requirements:

  • High-acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care Unit
  • Patient ratios: 4–5, occasionally 6
  • 16-bed unit
  • Must be Tele competent
  • Experience with COPD, pneumonia, CHF, DKA, Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes
  • Experience with pleural effusions and pneumothorax
  • Chest tube and PleurX drainage catheter experience
  • Must be experienced with trachs, vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
  • Critical Care RNs may be considered if experienced with Med Surg ratios and acuity
  • Cerner experience preferred, not required
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted; local rate applies within 50 miles
  • RTO must be included at submission
  • NURSYS report and verification of all active RN licenses required
  • May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin
