Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute care within the past 6 months License: Must have an active New York Single State RN license. Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience is required - Experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management - IV therapy and phlebotomy skills Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. Shifts will alternate between 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract length is for 13 weeks. Weekend work will be required every other weekend. Holiday availability is necessary, working every other holiday if needed. There may be a requirement to float within the skill set as necessary. Patient ratios will range between 1:5 and 1:7. The RN must have experience in IV therapy and managing peripheral lines. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients and managing oxygen administration along with non-invasive airway management. Isolation precautions knowledge is essential for this role.
