Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving ortho trauma, vascular, urology, neuro-spine, OB/GYN oncology, and acute medical populations
• Titrate drips including heparin and occasionally nitroglycerin, bivalirudin, Cardizem, and insulin per prescribed nomogram
• Manage patients with continuous bladder irrigation, wound dressing changes, heparin drips, and post-surgical care needs
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy in coordination with respiratory therapy support
• Assume expanded responsibility for vital signs and ADLs during evening and overnight hours in collaboration with nursing assistants
• Float to other adult medical/surgical nursing units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Ability to titrate drips following a prescribed nomogram
• Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ortho trauma, vascular, or post-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with continuous bladder irrigation and urological post-operative care
• Prior experience working within a block scheduling model
