Job Title: Travel RN MICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS CCRN preferred Must-Have: 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience BLS and ACLS certifications Description: This position involves working in a medical intensive care unit. Assignments are made according to patient acuity and staff skills. The unit utilizes a range of ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors. The documentation system used is Meditech. Candidates may be required to float as needed based on staffing needs. Procedures performed include central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be cleanly trimmed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
