Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $1,864 per week in Dallas, TX

Job Title: RN MICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license required (temporary license not accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred Must-Have: Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience are mandatory. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for patient assignments according to acuity and skills. Experience with all ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors, is necessary. The documentation system utilized in this unit is Meditech. Floating within the hospital may occur as needed. Common procedures performed on this unit include central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. Candidates should maintain a neat and clean appearance. The dress code for RNs includes wearing royal blue scrubs. Nails must be clean and healthy, and no artificial nails are allowed. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed. Visible piercings, other than ears, are prohibited. Body art should be covered whenever possible.
