Registered Nurse – Med Surg | Atlanta, GA | 13 Weeks Contract

Position: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (RN – Med Surg)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3×12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$1,700 to $1,950
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, pain levels, neurological status, and overall condition
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely
Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to physicians and the healthcare team
Assist with procedures, treatments, admissions, transfers, and discharge activities
Monitor IV lines, drains, wounds, catheters, and other clinical devices
Provide wound care and other treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
Educate patients and families regarding medications, diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
