Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,738 per week in Florence, SC

Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Preferred experience of 2 years in the relevant specialty. License: South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: - Experience with medical-surgical patients. - Ortho/Neuro experience preferred. - Skills in managing and caring for various patient needs such as colostomy/ileostomy care, telemetry, and wound care. Description: Position requires working with patients in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on orthopedic and neurological disorders. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:6-7 during shifts. There is a weekend requirement for every other weekend, including at least one Saturday and Sunday. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs and among like units may be required. No on-call duty is expected unless placed on call for a scheduled shift due to census. Experience in using electronic charting systems is preferred. Candidates must be open to accommodating potential block scheduling requests, though approval is not guaranteed. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Submission of RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted.
