Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role focuses on providing quality care in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with unit standards. The successful candidate will work within the Med Surg departments, floating as needed, ensuring care that meets the needs of a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg- Obtain and record initial assessment, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms and psychosocial needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
- Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within established time frames
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes
- Participate in patient health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
- Evaluate and modify the plan of care based on patient evaluations
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
- Clear communication skills appropriate to patient developmental age
