Shifts: Full Time (36 hours) + 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks, Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Geneva, NY. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse- Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of compassionate care
- Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor patient goals
- Promote patient health and safety, enforce infection prevention strategies
- Educate patients/families for continued care post-discharge
- Evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness for ongoing improvement
- Develop caring relationships with patients/families for enhanced care delivery
- Administer medications and other interventions skillfully
Requirements of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse- New York State RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only)
- NIHSS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience
