Shifts: Full Time (36 hours) + 2 on call shifts in 4 weeks, day/night variable shifts

Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse- Deliver high-quality compassionate care to patients and families
- Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Promote, advocate for, and protect patient health, safety, and rights
- Provide patient/family education to aid in self-care post-discharge
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse- New York State RN Licensure
- BLS and ACLS (AHA only) certifications
- NIHSS certification
- 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg environment
