Key Responsibilities
- Interpret the plan of medical care and assess patients' clinical needs to guide nursing care decisions
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed reports
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Knowledge of principles and skills required for practical nursing and patient care
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Familiarity with age-specific care considerations across patient populations
