Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Coordinate care for a group of patients across Joint Center and Medical-Surgical units, including direct patient care
• Supervise LPN and nonprofessional personnel in both the Joint Center and Medical-Surgical units
• Operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic surgical care strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Joint Center nursing environment
