Registered Nurse – NICU (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with varying patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1)
- Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of neonatal patients in a 34-bed unit
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within a teaching hospital environment
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements
- Float within the designated service area as required by unit staffing needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Level 3 NICU or high-acuity neonatal setting
- Familiarity with transport coordination or interfacility neonatal transport protocols
