This includes: greeting, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking vitals, height, weight, histories, updating medication, developing and maintaining patient education materials, preparing patient equipment and medication prescriptions for the Physician, phoning in prescription refills with Physician's approval, charting, preparing informed consent forms for invasive procedures, calling physician orders to other health provider agencies, i.e. home health, nursing home, therapists, securing x-ray films and preparing labs for the doctors, ordering clinical supplies, cleaning exam rooms, maintaining instruments, removing outdated medications, administering vaccination.
