Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with variable patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1) depending on acuity
- Monitor, assess, and document neonatal patient status using established clinical protocols and the facility's electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including transport and pediatric specialists, to coordinate patient care
- Adhere to all unit policies, safety standards, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements
- Float to other units within the facility's designated service area as required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
- Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius of the primary facility as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level 3 NICU or similarly complex neonatal care environment
- Familiarity with neonatal transport protocols and coordination with flight transport services
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or specialty setting
