Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Must-Have:
Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
Neuro experience preferred.
Description:
Staff will be expected to work on a storm team and/or hurricane team.
Staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
Contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
Patient diagnoses include neurosurgical procedures and neurological diagnoses.
The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:5-6.
This position may require floating within the facility as needed.
Weekend shifts will be a requirement, 12-16 shifts per contract.
The unit may accommodate block scheduling depending on requests.
RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, with no time off requested during the first week.
All RTO must be pre-approved.
Incomplete requirements may delay commencement of employment.
Electronic charting is utilized within the unit.
Daily census is approximately 36 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes various departments like physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services.
Candidate should be open to learning and adapting to the specific needs of the unit.
