Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $3,328 per week in Rapid City, SD

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro IR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ICU experience is a must as this position will be a member of the Neuro IR Stroke Team. Experience with endotracheal ventilation and basic management of ventilators. Ability to care for tracheostomy patients, including ventilation through stoma. Knowledge of vasoactive and sedation drips. Safe use of paralytics. Experience with setup, troubleshooting, and use of arterial lines. Monitoring of external ventricular drains, including ICP monitoring. Experience with external pacemakers and chest tubes. Proficient in the use and monitoring of Swan/Cordis central line catheters. Recovery and monitoring of arterial puncture sites. Description: The position involves providing nursing care in a busy medical imaging department. The role includes participation in the stroke team. Patient types will be discussed during the interview. There is a charge nurse available Monday through Friday. Charting will be done using EPIC, with preferred familiarity in Epic Cupid. The RN will follow a scheduling pattern of one week on call and two weeks off. Weekend and holiday expectations will be detailed during the interview process. Approval of time off must go through the nursing manager.
