Job Title: Neuro Critical Care Unit RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 7 AM / 7 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Neuro Critical Care License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, Critical Care Certification preferred, trauma course preferred Must-Have: Epic Experience Description: The Neuro Critical Care Unit specializes in caring for patients with severe brain injuries, strokes, or brain tumors. Many patients are post-operative from neurosurgical procedures. Providers in this unit focus on post-operative neurosurgical care for neurologically complex patients. The patient population requires care providers to interact with various vital organ systems. This role includes being available for weekends and on-call as needed. Floating to similar skill set areas may be required.
