Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level III or Level IV NICU environment. The position requires the ability to manage high acuity infants, including those on various ventilatory and support systems. The schedule is for overnight shifts, with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, at least 3 years of experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU, and open to floating to different campuses as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood and blood product administration, central line care, neonatal feeding, and ventilator management (including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, vents).
• Additional Information: The NICU has a census of approximately 50 neonates and includes high-risk deliveries, neonatal surgeries, and specialized procedures such as cooling therapy and use of syringe pumps. The unit comprises interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Travel requires submission of two references covering a one-year period within the last three years.
