• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Pattern: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Unit: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and major holiday coverage required
• Additional Notes: May be asked to float within related newborn care areas as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
• Recent NICU, neonatal nursing, pediatric, medical-surgical, OB, ED, or critical care experience preferred
• BLS required; PALS preferred at hire and may be required within 6 months based on department needs
• Strong neonatal assessment skills and ability to care for unstable or acutely ill infants
• Experience with EPIC or similar EHR systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support resuscitation and stabilization efforts for newborns when needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care
• Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records in the EHR
• Educate and support families with compassion and professionalism
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
