Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,576 per week in Paramus, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of oncology experience or medical surgical oncology License: New Jersey or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS required, Basic Arrhythmia Exam required Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with accessing and managing ports. Candidates must have experience with the administration of blood and blood products. Candidates must have experience with inpatient oncology and PICC line care. Description: Seeking a dedicated registered nurse specializing in medical surgical oncology. The position requires every other weekend work and willingness to float to other units. Candidates must be proficient in pain management and time management nursing skills. Experience with end-of-life care is desirable. Candidates must successfully pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam during orientation to continue with the contract. Minimum passing score for the exam is 80%. No retakes of the exam are permitted. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation and heart rate calculations. Familiarity with identifying atrial, ventricular, junctional, paced rhythms, and heart blocks is important.
