Job Summary:
The Houston, Texas Medical Surgical Oncology Floor position entails providing specialized nursing care in an inpatient oncology setting. This contract role is suitable for qualified registered nurses with certification in chemotherapy biotherapy and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) provider certification. The RN will be responsible for administering treatments, including chemotherapy, and managing patient care on the oncology floor.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas or multistate registered nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) provider certification Must be certified to administer chemotherapy and biotherapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical surgical oncology nursing and infusion therapy.
• Additional Information: This inpatient nursing role requires the ability to deliver chemotherapy treatments and adhere to established clinical protocols. Candidates must be able to work night shifts consistently.
