Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an inpatient Oncology unit with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4, flexing to 1:5
Administer and monitor IV therapies including blood and electrolyte replacement using Baxter infusion pumps
Maintain strict intake and output monitoring and adhere to neutropenic precaution protocols
Perform and document routine care including CHG baths and linen changes every 24 hours, dressing changes every 7 days, and line and cap changes every 96 hours
Document all patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Float to Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant units as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Experience with Baxter infusion pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills
Hematology/Oncology (HemOnc) background
Chemotherapy certification
Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant patient populations
