Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3 X 12s Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Recent hospital experience within the past five years preferred. License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to circulate CVOR cases as well as other specialties including General, GYN, Urology, Neuro, and Ortho. Description: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Follows professional standards and state regulations. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information and reports findings to the physician. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently, and with technical skill. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides education. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation. Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows nurse practice act.
