Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,502 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title: Travel RN - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Required RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience as circulator - Patient advocate while being a resource for the sterile field Description: This position is for a Travel RN specializing in the Operating Room. Candidates should have experience in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics. Calls will vary, with an average of 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks, typically including weekend shifts. The unit has 11 operating rooms and supports a variety of surgical procedures. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:1. The typical staff includes an average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub Techs, and 5 Surgical Support Techs during day shifts. The night shift will have one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house, with a call team available for backup. A positive outlook and willingness to collaborate with team members are essential. Candidates will be considered based on relevant experience. All scrubs will be provided by the facility. Weekend availability and on-call shifts are required.
