Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,566 per week in Abilene, TX

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in service line required License: Valid Nursing License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience required. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with trauma Level I and Level II preferred. Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred. Description: Start date in the next 3-5 weeks preferred. 3x12 schedules preferred, but 4x10 schedules may be considered. The position involves neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general robotic procedures. Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures is mandatory. Required skills include amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, and various orthopedic procedures. Daily patient ratios are 1:1 for all shifts. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and more. Local radius rule applies; candidates within 150 miles are preferred. A drug screening is mandatory upon arrival, including marijuana testing, and a positive result will result in automatic cancellation. Candidates should be mindful to avoid any substances that could affect drug screening results upon arrival.
