Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,567 per week in Abilene, TX

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of recent experience in specialty License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience required Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General/Robotics/Trauma experience required Description: Start date in the next 3-5 weeks preferred. Flexibility for scheduling options including combinations of Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday. On-call and late days as required. Options for 4x10 hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00 or 08:30 to 19:00 as well as 5x8 hour shifts if preferred. Experience with Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics surgical procedures is essential. Candidates must have experience in craniotomy and burr hole procedures. Prior charge experience is preferred. Experience with trauma level I and II is preferred. Strong skills in various surgical procedures including but not limited to amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, and spinal fusion are essential. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams. Ideal candidates should have strong documentation skills, preferably with Allscripts experience. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates must undergo a mandatory drug screening upon arrival. Positive results will lead to immediate cancellation with no exceptions. Candidates should refrain from any substances that may result in a positive drug screening result. Local radius policy is in effect, and previous permanent staff should have been gone for one year to return as travelers. Clinicians must be available to complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer. Candidates should avoid any delays in documentation submission to ensure timely onboarding.
