Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,886 per week in Herrin, IL

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: Current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to circulate in heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine procedures, and Robotic surgeries Description: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week. Shift hours are from 0700 to 1730. On-call required. One weeknight and two weekend days per month for call requirements, possibly more depending on departmental needs. May float to other facilities if needed. Must be able to circulate. Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills. Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team. Provide explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons. Demonstrate the ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition. Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care. Participate in continuing education. Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
