Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Start Time: 6:30 AM – End Time: 5:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week (weekends preferred) | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
Serve as patient advocate in the circulator role while acting as a resource for the sterile field
Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a variety of surgical specialties including Total Joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic-assisted cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within an 11-OR suite environment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including RNs, scrub techs, and surgical support techs
Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
Document accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
Active Alaska RN license (required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Experience in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neurosurgery, and Robotics
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Ability and willingness to take on-call shifts including weekends
