    Operating Room Registered Nurse

    Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and across perioperative services for all patient populations
    • Serve as a patient advocate and maintain compliance with surgical standards of nursing practice
    • Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, in accordance with policy
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team — including RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, physicians, and ancillary disciplines — in patient and family assessment and care planning
    • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and ongoing evaluation
    • Adequately assess and reassess pain and utilize appropriate pain management techniques
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
    • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Thorough knowledge of sterile technique
    • Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage multiple assignments with multilevel personnel
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Prior experience in perioperative or operating room nursing
