Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with Call Requirements | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
• Ensure appropriate supplies are available and cases proceed in a timely manner
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across a variety of specialties
• Supervise personnel involved in the delivery of patient care and float between campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience with demonstrated strength in one or more of the following: Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, or Gynecology
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must complete AHCA Fingerprinting prior to start date (required for all Florida travel clinicians)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Experience floating between multiple surgical campuses or departments
