Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care in the operating room
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
Ensure appropriate supplies are available and cases proceed in a timely manner
Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across a variety of specialties
Supervise personnel involved in the delivery of patient care and float between campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of operating room experience with demonstrated strength in one or more of the following: Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, or Gynecology
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Must complete AHCA Fingerprinting prior to start date (required for all Florida travel clinicians)
